Pete is a dental industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of DSO strategy, dental office design, and practice valuation. Over that career he has worked with some of the largest dental groups in North America, advised on operatory design and clinical infrastructure for practices of every scale.
Dental Strategy Institute is the result of a simple observation Pete kept making over two decades: the business side of dentistry was extraordinarily underserved. DAIQ exists to change that.

Susan Volk is a Registered Dental Hygienist with more than two decades of clinical and industry experience — including roles at Colgate Palmolive, Hu-Friedy, and Benco Dental. Since 2021 she has worked as a part-time hygienist across a wide range of private practices and DSO environments, giving her an on-the-ground perspective on how dental businesses actually function at the chair level.
Susan contributes clinical accuracy, real-world hygiene insight, where the clinical perspective matters as much as the business strategy. Her background in dental sales, KOL relationship management, and equipment consultation adds a layer of depth and knowledge that is invaluable.
